  We suggest your filter system run 6 to 8 hours per day.

• Q: How do I know what size pump and filter I really need?

  Your pump and filter will be sized according to the volume of water in your pool.

• Q: How often should I backwash my filter?

  Sand filters can be changed about every 5 years or so. This will be determined by the amount of alkaline and calcium content of the pool water.
